Welcome to Mangla Guest House!

Mangla Guest House is located in the heart of the Bengali Tola area of Varanasi’s Old City. It is the perfect place to stay for sightseeing and to really get a first-hand experience of Varanasi life. We are nestled in the winding streets of the Bengali Tola bazaar which is lined with shops of all types including saris, handicrafts, Indian classical instrument shops, bustling restaurants and cafes of both Indian and International cuisine, temples scattered along its paths and, most importantly, only a 5 minute walk to the Ganga River front which is lined with ancient temples, palaces, the sacred cremation sites and the famous nightly Aarti Ceremony ….be sure to take a boat ride to get a different point of view as well.

While there is much to do in see in our area, we are also conveniently located near the Main Ghat (Dashashwamedh) where you can easily get to the main street for transportation to other popular temples and sites such as Benares Hindu University and Sarnath. We are always happy to help with arrangements for tours and transportation.

The heart of the city pulses strongly closest to the Ganga River and at Mangla Guest House you are where you need to be!
